The Yarn Yard is based near Edinburgh in Scotland. It is the product of a lifetime of involvement with textiles .... and a broken ankle which refused to "knit". This combination offered the unexpected opportunity to spend several months dyeing and testing and also provided excellent orthopaedic rehab! (Weight bear as much as possible while remaining able to rest when necessary).

I offer a variety of yarns and fibre for knitters and spinners. These are divided into two groups - a Permanent Collection and a Limited Edition selection. The Limited Edition colourways are not repeatable - so grab them when you see something you love!
